Ceramic Communion

Ceramic Communion is a ritual ceramic experience with the sole purpose of channeling emotional charges through clay forms. We will work on what each person carries: an intention, an anxiety, a memory, a question, a small burden.

Through a guided process, we will attempt to move, shape, and deposit it in the clay. We will begin by setting a personal intention through guided meditation, in order to connect with the clay body and allow it to become an extension of our fingers.

Ceramic Communion is for people who are exploring the tiny details that define their lives. An opportunity to quiet the noise in our heads, to take a deep breath, to realize that we are stronger than our emotions and thoughts.

Hi! I'm Eleni Kokkoli Papadopoulou and I am an Object Designer. In 2022, I decided to shift career paths, leave the corporate environment where I was working for the past decade, and invest in the creation of a small brand with artistic home objects. I focus on creating objects by channeling my emotional trauma through clay mediums. I choose clay as my main means of expression, since I believe it is the only material that allows me to express my thoughts directly on the material, without the need of any other medium.
